Grounded sockets<\/h3>\n

Grounded sockets are used in devices such as refrigerators and washing machines that need grounding.<\/p>\n

Ungrounded Sockets<\/h3>\n

Ungrounded sockets are used with electronic devices such as TVs and stereos that do not require grounding.<\/p>\n

UPS sockets<\/h3>\n

UPS sockets are products used with UPS lines to which sensitive devices such as computers are connected.<\/p>\n

In addition to these products, as a result of developing technology and R&D studies, in order to maximize the safety of the socket group products over the years, products with increased protection classes that hide the plug socket, which we call childproof and capped, have been added to the standard socket products.<\/p>\n

If we give examples of issues to be considered about sockets, The sockets must have the required ampere range in order to correctly transmit the electric current from the network to the electrical appliances.<\/p>\n

The sockets used in our country are generally used as 10 or 16 amps. Appliances that draw a lot of electric current, such as air conditioners or water heaters, should be connected directly to the fuse without using any socket.<\/p>\n

Otherwise, the high current passing through the socket may cause the socket and cables to heat up, creating the possibility of fire. Although grounded sockets offer a great precaution against the possibility of leakage, they must be replaced immediately in case of any blackening, ie oxidation.<\/p>\n

Oxidation in and around the plug slots inside the socket can cause electrical leakage.
