Group Sockets
It is a multi-socket that connects to the other end of the cable plugged into the socket, can be used without being mounted anywhere, and allows the plugs to receive energy. It is used to supply multiple electrically powered receivers from a single socket. It transmits the energy in the system to the receivers with the help of the desired number of sockets. The power drawn should never be more than the power of the socket from which energy is received.
If we classify Group Sockets in terms of structure; As with sockets, they are manufactured in 3 different ways.
Grounded Group Sockets
Grounded Group Sockets are used in devices such as refrigerators and washing machines that need grounding.
Ungrounded Group Sockets
Ungrounded Group Sockets are used with electronic devices such as TVs and stereos that do not require grounding.
UPS Group Sockets
UPS Group Sockets are products used together with UPS lines to which sensitive devices such as computers are connected.
In addition to these products, as a result of developing technology and R&D studies, in order to maximize the safety of the socket group products over the years, products with switches to cut the incoming current when the child-protected group socket is plugged in have been added to the standard socket products.
